Yamaha has hiked prices for its BS6 Ray ZR 125 and Ray ZR 125 Street Rally. The price hike for both models is Rs 800. Know the Ray ZR 125, RayZR 125 Street Rally and Yamaha's other BS6 model’s updated prices.
The Ray ZR 125 FI is available with a front drum brake and front disc brake. Its sportier sibling, the Ray ZR Street Rally 125 FI, is available only in a front disc brake variant.
The new 125cc variant replaces the older 110cc model. The Ray ZR 125 Fi gets new features such as LED DRLs, a digital instrument console, and ‘Quiet Engine Start’ (similar to Honda’s silent-start system) and side stand engine cutoff. Powering the scooter is the same 125cc fuel-injected engine as seen on the new Fascino. This motor churns out 8.2PS and 9.7Nm of torque. It gets a telescopic fork up front and a single shock absorber at the rear. The top-end variant gets a drum-disc brake setup with UBS (Unified Braking System).
