Mahindra Bolero Latest Updates

Mahindra has launched the BS6-compliant Bolero with prices starting from Rs 7.76 lakh featuring a mild facelift. Going by that, the new base variant (B4) is now priced at a premium of Rs 33,000, while the top-spec B6(O) is priced similar at Rs 8.78 lakh (ex-showroom) compared to the BS4 model. The Bolero, though barebones, is known as a tough workhorse and has been successful for Mahindra since launch.

Mahindra Bolero Specifications

The BS6-compliant Mahindra Bolero is powered by a 1.5-litre mHawk75 three-cylinder diesel engine that develops 76PS and 210Nm, 5PS and 15Nm more than before. Meanwhile, the gearbox option remains the same with a 5-speed manual. In terms of dimensions, the Bolero is 3995mm long, 1745mm wide and 1880mm tall.

The BS6-compliant Mahindra Bolero is offered in three variants: BS4, B6 and B6 (O). It’s offered in three colours: white, silver and brown.

Features on offer are a micro-hybrid system (engine start-stop system), Bluetooth enabled audio system with USB support, fog lamps, rear wash wipe, and a flip key (new). Standard safety kit includes driver airbag, driver and co-driver seatbelt reminder, high-speed alert, and rear parking sensors.

  Mahindra Bolero Compititors

Though the Mahindra Bolero doesn’t have any direct rivals, you could consider more modern sub 4-metre SUVs like the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue and Ford EcoSport in the same price bracket. If you need a tough-as-nails SUV alternative, consider the TUV300 at a slight premium and if you want a relatively affordable people mover, take a look at the Renault Triber.

The price of Mahindra Bolero starts at Rs. 7.98 lakh and goes upto Rs. 8.99 lakh. The prices of Bolero diesel variants start at Rs. 7.98 lakh and the top-end diesel is priced at Rs. 8.99 lakh. Mahindra Bolero is available in 3 variants and 3 different colours.
