The 2020 Kawasaki Z650 BS6 has been launched at Rs 5.94 lakh, making it Rs 25,000 more expensive than its BS4 predecessor. For this extra cash, you get updated styling and the Z650 now features a sharp-looking LED headlight which gives it a modern appearance. The updated motor now burns cleaner despite retaining its 68PS power output, and the bike is just 1kg heavier than before. Torque is down by 1.7Nm to 64Nm.
Kawasaki has also added a 4.3-inch colour TFT display to replace the older semi-digital unit. It gets Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to hook up your phone and manage music playback, phone calls, and also gives you post-ride analysis. The final update on the BS6 version are the new Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2 tyres which replace the previous and less-grippy Dunlop Sportmax D214 rubber.
