Volkswagen India has launched the T-ROC in the country with prices starting from Rs 19.99 lakh. The T-ROC is VW’s first attempt in the hotly contested premium compact SUV segment, sitting on the higher end of the segment. Powering the SUV is a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol mill. Rivals include the Jeep Compass and the upcoming Skoda Karoq.
  • T-Roc Specifications
It is powered by a 1.5-litre turbo-charged petrol mill delivering 150PS and 250Nm paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Other notable tech includes active cylinder management technology, which shuts down two cylinders under less load to help in fuel efficiency.

It is offered in a sole variant with a price tag of Rs 19,99 lakh (ex-showroom).
  • T-Roc Features
Notable features include connected car technology, an 8-inch infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, cruise control, powered front seats, automatic headlamps and automatic wipers. Safety features include 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors and electronic stability control.
