Tata Gravitas Latest Updates

Tata Motors has revealed the Gravitas 7-seater SUV at Auto Expo 2020. The Gravitas is essentially a longer Harrier with a third row of seats. It also comes with a BS6-compliant 2.0-litre engine that develops 170PS and 350Nm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a new 6-speed automatic sourced from Hyundai.
The Gravitas shares most of its features with the standard Harrier. Highlights include an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 9-speaker JBL sound system, automatic climate control, terrain modes, drive modes, cruise control, a coloured multi-info display, as well as keyless entry with push-button start. It also packs in a sunroof -- a feature available as a dealer-level accessory in the Harrier.
Safety features include 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, electronic stability program, hill hold control, and hill descent control.
The Gravitas is expected to be priced at Rs 1 lakh more than the Harrier, which starts from Rs 13.69 lakh. Its rivals include the Mahindra XUV500 and the upcoming MG Hector 6-seater.
